The amount of Disability Living Allowance being paid to Isle of Man residents has increased by £1.5m over the last five years.
During the 2016-17 financial year, the Treasury funded £9.46m, compared to £7.912m five years earlier.
The figure fell from 2012 to 2014, but has risen every year since.
Over the same five-year period, carer's allowance has tripled to almost £2.3m, while incapacity benefit cost almost £11m last year.
The total cost of benefits for those who are unable to work due to a physical or mental disability was just over £35m over the last 12 months, up from just over £30.2m during the 2011-12 period.
