Evening closures planned for Mountain Road maintenance

The Mountain Road will close on two evenings next month for maintenance work.

The Department of Infrastructure will shut the route between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road from 6.30pm to 10.30pm on August 8th and 9th.

The work will include patching, hedge trimming and sweeping, although access to properties will be maintained throughout.

The work comes just 10 days ahead of the start of the Manx Grand Prix and Classic TT.
