Three dead after car hits bus stop in Laxey

Three people have died following a car crash in Laxey this morning.

The vehicle was carrying four elderly people from the Island when it struck a bus stop at Fairy Cottage.

Two people were declared dead at the scene, while a third died after being taken to Noble's Hospital.

A fourth person is being treated in the intensive therapy unit and is described as in a critical condition.

Police say no other person or vehicle was involved in the collision.
