DoI seeks permission for paving plans

The Department of Infrastructure is seeking approval for plans to replace a section of paving in Douglas town centre.

The organisation has submitted a planning application to lay granite paving on Marina Road.

The new surface would match what has already been installed in Strand Street.

The DoI announced a scheme to regenerate the adjacent Castle Street area earlier this year, with the £3m scheme due to get underway in 2018.
