Work is underway to set up a quiet room for patients travelling off Island for medical appointments in the UK.
The Isle of Man Airport agreed to provide the facility to make it easier for Manx residents waiting for flights to visit hospitals off Island.
The room has been funded by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group to ensure those undergoing treatment have somewhere comfortable and quiet to wait for their flights.
A similar room is planned for Liverpool John Lennon Airport for those returning to the Island.
