Teacher training questions for Education Minister

The Education Minister will be questioned about the qualification and training of teachers on the Isle of Man next week.

Onchan MHK Julie Edge will ask Graham Cregeen how many unqualified teachers are employed by or have full-time equivalent posts at schools run by the Department of Education and Children.

Ms Edge is also seeking details about training opportunities at primary school, secondary school and University College Isle of Man.

Mr Cregeen will reveal the figures when Tynwald sits on Tuesday.
