Staff at Noble's Hospital will be taking part in an exercise to test how they'd react to a major incident today.
The event will last all day, and involve staff being presented with a scenario and asked to react to a developing situation.
It's hoped the exercise will pose questions a scenario may throw up, as well as helping clarify roles and responsibilities.
London-based Manx medical professional Dr Gareth Davies will lead the exercise, having recently taken up a role as emergency department consultant at Noble's.
Dr Davies has previously led team at major incidents in London, including the 7/7 bombings and the recent attacks at Westminster and London Bridge.
