Van drives off after hitting parked car

Police are investigating after a van drove away after hitting a parked car in the west of the Island.

Officers say the white Transit-type van was attempting to park on the Glenfaba Road in Peel at around 6.15pm yesterday when it hit the car behind.

The driver immediately left the area and drove away, despite causing damage to the vehicle it hit.
