13 Acts to be promulgated at Tynwald Day ceremony

13 Acts will go through the final stage of the Manx legislative process today.

The Road Races Act, the Beneficial Ownership Act and an amendment to the Marriage and Civil Partnership are among the items to be promulgated at today's Tynwald Ceremony.

If an Act passed by Tynwald is not promulgated at St John's on Tynwald Day within 18 months of approval it becomes null and void.

Tynwald Day is also a chance for members of the public to present petition for redress to the Manx parliament.

The ceremony gets underway at 11am.
