Ayre Clay Target Club held five competitions at Blue Point over the weekend. Jake Keeling was the winner of both Double Trap league competitions, sponsored by Jewsons. Kevin Oates was second in both with Neil Parsons taking third on Saturday, sharing third with Wilfy Walton on Sunday. Keeling also won Saturday’s Selection Shoot with Oates in second and Parsons in third. Keeling went on to win the Sadler Agricultural Supplies Manx Championship on Sunday from Oates with Parsons and Rob Watterson sharing third place. Oates was the winner of the 50 target Sportrap league shoot on Sunday. Phil Butler and Nigel Moffatt shared second place.

This Saturday at Blue Point is the 50 target Side x Side Manx Championship sponsored by JW Kneen and Son Limited. Entries close later than on the fixture list at 1.30pm. Setting up from 10.30 am. Sunday’s competitions are 50 Olympic Skeet and 50 DTL, sponsored by Absolute Scaffolding and Chrystals Estate Agents respectively. Entries close at 10.15am. The afternoon competition will be a 100 target ABT Selection Shoot with entries closing at 12.30pm.
