Plans to build a skatepark for young people in the south of the Island have been unveiled.
The Jactor skatepark project is aiming to raise £75,000 to build a concrete space for all wheeled sport in Port St Mary.
The project is named after local brothers Jacques and Torin Lakeman, who died from a drugs overdose in 2014. The brothers' father has given his support to the plans.
The skatepark would be built in between the park and basketball court near the golf course, and those behind the scheme hope it can be completed within 12 months.
Designs for the park have been published on social media, and the project's Facebook page is currently appealing for contributions towards the construction.
