No consultation process ahead of bus changes

The Infrastructure Minister says no formal consultation was taken ahead of making changes to the bus timetable.

The Department of Infrastructure announced a series of changes to the schedule last month.

Ray Harmer told Tynwald that the last public consultation was in 2012, despite the DoI claiming the most recent changes were in response to feedback from those who use the service.

The Minister revealed Bus Vannin use information from ticket sales, MHKs and local authorities.

Mr Harmer also confirmed there hasn't been much feedback from the public since the new schedule came into force.
