Proposed changes to the Island's election laws are a step closer after Tynwald approved a series of recommendations.
A select committee set up after last year's House of Keys General Election presented its report at this month's sitting of Tynwald, including 15 recommended changes.
The ideas include allowing residents to register to vote until up to a week before the vote, checking whether or not they're registered online and an investigation into electronic voting systems.
The report will now be used by the Cabinet Office as part of its review into electoral legislation.
