A group campaigning for the abolition of abortion says it's received positive feedback after holding a protest in Douglas town centre.
Rescue.im gathered in Douglas town centre on Saturday to campaign against abortion.
The group claims it received twice as many positive comments as negative ones, and that some passers by said their opinions on abortion had been changed as a result of the protest.
Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson was given leave earlier this year to introduce a private members bill to update the Island's abortion legislation, which currently prevents most women having a termination here.
Recently-published figures show the number of women travelling off Island for private abortions dropped last year.
