The Department of Home Affairs is looking for members of the public to ensure prisoners' rights are being upheld.
The Department needs new members for its Independent Monitoring Board.
The body makes sure those being detained at the Island's prison and custody suites are being given the right treatment, accommodation and standard of care.
Those who are picked for the board will attend the prison each week on a rota basis, as well as monthly board meetings.
The DHA is looking for people with good life experience, an open mind and a strong sense of justice.
More details on the role and the work of the IMB can be found on the Government's website.
