Over 1400 walkers will take to the Island's roads today for the annual Parish Walk.
1412 entrants signed up for the 85-mile 24-hour race, which got underway at the NSC earlier.
Last year's winner Richard Gerrard will be aiming to win the event for the fourth time in a row.
The event means there will be some road closures and traffic restrictions in place, particularly in the early stages of the race.
The winner is likely to finish the race around midnight at the War Memorial on Douglas promenade.
