Minister to face questions about bus timetable changes

Changes to the bus timetable will be discussed when Tynwald sits this month.

A number of alterations were made to the schedule last month, including scheduling buses going to Ramsey and Peel to leave earlier.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford wants to know what consultation was undertaken before the changes were made, and what the public's reaction has been since the new timetable came in.

The Department of Infrastructure said the changes were in response to feedback from the public as well as operational reasons.

Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer will answer the query when Tynwald sits from Tuesday next week.
