No plans for Ramsey marina

The Infrastructure Minister says there are no imminent plans to develop a marina in Ramsey.

A public consultation on a marina scheme for the town was run in 2009, but no plans have progressed since.

However, Ray Harmer revealed his Department is working with the Department of Economic Development to find opportunities for development the shipyard estate.

The Minister also confirmed there has been investment in the harbour over the winter.

The DoI is currently developing a Harbours Maritime Strategy, which Ramsey will included in.
