The latest hospital waiting times for the Island show more cancer patients are being seen sooner.
The Department of Health and Social Care has released waiting times from the first three months of 2017, showing 78% of those suspected of having cancer are referred to hospital within two weeks - an improvement of 8% on the previous quarter.
However, the figure still falls short of the Department's target of 93%.
The number of cancer patients receiving treatment within 31 days of diagnosis was also up, but still short of the target.
