Hutchinson transferred to Liverpool for further treatment

Ian Hutchinson has been transferred to Liverpool for further treatment following his crash in the Senior TT.

The 16-time race winner sustained a fractured femur after coming off at the 27th milestone on the second lap of the race yesterday.

Tyco BMW confirmed the Bingley Bullet is now being treated in a hospital in Liverpool, having initially been airlifted to Noble's.

The team also thanked their fans for sending well-wishes following the crash.

The race had to be red flagged while debris was cleared, before Michael Dunlop won the restart.
