Dutch rider dies in Superstock race

Jochem van den Hoek finished 27th in the Superbike race on Sunday.

A rider has died as a result of injuries sustained in this morning's Superstock race at the Isle of Man TT.

Jochem van den Hoek from the Netherlands was involved in an incident at the 11th milestone on the opening lap of the race.

The 28-year-old made his debut at the TT last year, and secured his highest-placed finish after coming 27th in the Superbike race on Sunday.
