Hairpin restricted to spectators after sidecar incident

TT organisers are reviewing an incident after a sidecar veered into a section of spectators at Ramsey Hairpin during a race.

As a result of the incident, the section to the left of the hairpin will be a restricted area for the remainder of the meeting.

No-one was injured in the incident, but a video shared widely on social media shows the sidecar crew veering into the crowd during yesterday's race.

Riders will also be advised before every race of any damp patches which could affect adhesion, while ACU Events will carry out a full and comprehensive review.
