The Chief Minister will be writing to the UK Prime Minister to express the Island's sympathy following the attacks in London at the weekend.
Howard Quayle described the attacks at London Bridge and Borough Market, which left seven people dead, as "truly shocking".
Mr Quayle has pledged to contact Theresa May with the deepest sympathy of the Island for those who died and were injured, and insisted that the Island stands in solidarity with the UK.
Manx Government buildings will hold a minute's silence at 11am today for those killed and injured in the attacks.
