Weather causing problems on Island's roads
Tue, 06 Jun 2017
A marshall hut was blown onto the Mountain Road earlier this morning.
The weather conditions are causing traffic problems on the Island this morning.
The Mountain Road has now re-opened after a marshall hut that was blown into the road was removed, but the Laxey Coast Road is blocked by a tree and power lines coming down.
As a result, all motorists travelling to the north of the Island are having to go through Kirk Michael.
There's also a tree down at Billown Dip in the south of the Island.
TT organisers will assess the road conditions and make an announcement about today's racing at 10am.
