Investigations are underway after a motorcyclist was killed as a result of a three-vehicle crash on the TT course.
The incident happened between Handley's Corner and Barregarrow crossroads shortly after roads re-opened after the end of yesterday's racing at around 5pm.
The crash happened when a Yamaha motorcycle travelling towards Kirk Michael collided with a Nissan leaving a driveway, with a Honda travelling in the same direction as the Yamaha also involved.
The rider of the Yamaha, a 59-year-old local man, was airlifted to hospital but later died from his injuries.
The Honda rider and a passenger from the Nissan were also treated in Noble's but have since been released.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but hasn't already spoken to the police is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 631212.
