Clerk of the Course gives racing the go-ahead

The Clerk of the Course is optimistic this afternoon's TT schedule will go ahead, despite heavy rain forecast.

Gary Thompson confirmed the roads will be closed following an inspection, starting with the Mountain Road from 11.15am, with the remainder of the course shutting at midday.

The four-lap Supersport race will go at 12.45pm, but the rest of the day's running order is still to be confirmed.

The first Sidecar race and several practice laps had also been scheduled for today.
