Memorial lap cancelled due to serious crash

The annual Simon Andrews Memorial Lap in honour of fallen riders has been cancelled due to a serious crash on the Mountain Road

Police are dealing with a serious crash on the Mountain Road.

The route is shut between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Bungalow due to two incidents, one of which is described as serious.

Officers say investigations are underway, and the road will stay shut until at least 11am.

As a result, the annual Mad Sunday Simon Andrews Memorial Lap has been cancelled.
