Bicycles stolen in Douglas

Police are appealing for information following two bicycle thefts in Douglas.

The first was taken from the Cronk-y-Berry area overnight on Monday.

Another was stolen from Castlemona Avenue between 12.20am and 12.30am earlier today.

Officers say this was a distinctive red Carrera Vulcan mountain bike with a water bottle, LED lights and a pump attacked, as well as a padlock around the seat.

Anyone who can help police find either bicycle or the people responsible for taking them is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
