Newcomers to open tonight's TT practice

Practice is due to get underway for this year's Isle of Man TT later.

Roads closed on Saturday for the newcomers to have their first lap of the Snaefell Mountain Course, but fog meant no-one left the Grandstand.

The solo and sidecar newcomers will get their introduction to the course first, before superbike, superstock and supersport qualifying gets underway at 6.40, while the sidecars are due out at 7.50

The Mountain Road is due to close from 4.45, with the entire course shut by 6pm.
