Police to use electric bike during TT
Fri, 26 May 2017
The Island's police will be using an electric motorbike during this year's TT.
The Isle of Man Constabulary regularly borrow vehicles from other forces in order to increase patrols during the busy fortnight.
One of the vehicle's on loan this year comes from Zero Motorcycles in the Netherlands, with a top speed of 98mph and a 12-hour battery life.
Officers say they've been pleasantly surprised by the vehicle, describing it as an interesting acquisition.
