Students learn about TT road safety

Students in the north of the Island have been learning the importance of road safety during TT.

Officers from the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team have been visiting schools in the area to ensure pupils stay safe while using the roads during the busy fortnight.

Police insist road safety throughout TT isn't just about bikes, emphasising the importance of being safe however you use the road.

Advice includes ensuring seatbelts are worn, wearing a helmet while cycling and being aware visiting motorists might not know the rules of the roads here.
