ISLEXPO gets underway at Villa

A two-day conference aiming to showcase and help develop the Island's businesses sectors gets underway in Douglas today.

ISLEXPO includes a number of keynote spekaers, workshops and panel discussions during the day, followed by informal talks, live music and local food and drink in the evening.

Today's programme focusses on start-up businesses, while tomorrow looks at larger organisations looking to expand.

Industries including financial services, e-Business, media and tourism will all feature over the next two days.

The event takes place at the Villa Marina.
