Police officers in the Isle of Man will be trialling body-worn cameras.
The Isle of Man Constabulary will start a six-month trial of the equipment during this year's TT festival.
The police say similar trials in the UK and Jersey have shown footage from such cameras results in earlier guilty pleas and speeds up the justice process.
The cameras attach to the officer's uniform and include a forward-facing screen, so those being filmed can see what's being recorded.
