A meeting will take place in Ramsey next week to give residents the opportunity to hear about the future of Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
Ramsey Town Commissioners were asked to call a requisition meeting by a number of registered voters in the town over concerns about the future of the facility.
The Department of Health and Social Care recently revealed it will be moving all endoscopy surgeries to Noble's Hospital, as well as transferring two members of staff from Ramsey to the Braddan hospital.
The local authority confirmed Health Minister Kate Beecroft has been invited to the meeting, along with the Department's Chief Executive and other members.
The Commissioners say the meeting will give the public a chance to hear the views of those withing the DHSC.
The meeting will take place at Bunscoill Rhumsaa on Lezayre Road from 7pm on Tuesday.
