Police in the west of the Island are praising members of the public after a mess on a beach was cleaned up.
Officers posted about the rubbish left on a beach in Peel after a group of young people had a party to celebrate the end of their exams.
The party smashed glass on rocks, posing a risk to walkers and dogs who use the beach, as well as littering.
Following a post about the mess on Facebook, the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team revealed the beach was clean and tidy 24 hours later, thanking those who took the time to clean it up.
