The Island's Office of Fair Trading is warning of two telephone scams targetting Manx residents.
One scam sees the caller pose as a representative of Barclaycard offering a PPI refund, using scare tactics in a bid to obtain the victim's banking details.
The OFT is also aware of fraudsters claiming to be from Manx Telecom, claiming a person's account has been hacked.
The caller goes on to offer compensation in a bid to get banking details.
The OFT is reiterating previous advice to not engage with such callers and hang up if you receive such a call.
