The Environment Minister has been discussing the potential impact of Brexit with his counterparts from other Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories.
Geoffrey Boot attended the meeting in Alderney to talk about the opportunities and challenges presented by the UK's exit from the European Union.
A House of Lord's committee has already identified fishing and agriculture as areas that could be impacted by Britain's withdrawal from the EU.
Mr Boot insists it's important for the Island to engage with other jurisdictions.
The Ministers also discussed recycling, climate change and waste management at the gathering.
