Fire crews called out to chip pan fire

Fire crews were called out after a chip pan caught fire in Douglas.

Two fire engines headed to St Catherine's Close on Tuesday evening following reports of a fire.

The occupiers managed to remove the pan from the house before firefighters arrived, putting the fire out.

Crews remained at the scene, using a positive pressure fan to clear the smoke in the property.
