A 70-year-old has been injured while trying to stop a group of youths damaging a bus shelter in Peel.
The man was one of two members of the public to intervene while the group were kicking and punching the bus stop on Derby Road at round 9.35 on Friday evening.
One of the youths was arrested, but officers are still seeking witnesses to help identify the other people involved.
Police insist Peel is a safe place to work and live, but are urging anyone who saw what happened to provide as much detail as possible so they can find those responsible.
