Sat, 29 Apr 2017
The Isle of Man is making another donation to help the humanitarian crisis in East Africa.
The Government's Emergency Aid budget has pledged £50,000 to the Disaster Emergency Committee's appeal to support agencies working in South Sudan, Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
The donation doubles the amount of aid the Island has already committed to the fund.
Around 16 million people are said to be on the brink of starvation as a result of drought and conflict in the region.
