Hundreds of young cyclists will be competing on the Island over the next three days in the Isle of Man Youth Cycling Tour.
Over 350 competitors aged five to 18 are due to take part in the event, which is part of British Cycling's Youth Circuit Series and Junior Road Race Series.
The riders will start the competition with a prologue time trial on Douglas promenade this evening, before taking to the roads on Saturday and Sunday.
Manx cyclists and former British champions Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh both competed in the Youth Tour as juniors.
The event is one of a number of high profile cycling competitions taking place on the Isle of Man this year, including the British National Road Championships.
