The Policy and Reform Minister has revealed a review is underway after the number of under 16s on the Island was under-reported during last year's Census.
The Government had to send out reminders and cross-check data after fewer than expected children were listed on Census forms last March.
Speaking at this month's Tynwald sitting, Chris Thomas confirmed a review is underway to ensure the census forms aren't misunderstood in the future.
The Minister also said the final figure had been adjusted once the missing under-16s had been factored in.
