Police and an animal charity are urging parents to educate children about respecting wildlife after a group of youths were seen throwing rocks at ducks.
ManxSPCA officers were called out to Poyll Dooey in Ramsey yesterday to help an injured duck when they saw a group of three school boys throwing rocks at other ducks in the area.
The boys ran when approached by the officers.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team is calling on parents to encourage their children not to harm the Island's wildlife.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the MSPCA or Crimestoppers.
