Ayre Clay Target Club held two competitions at Blue Point at the weekend.

Rob Watterson won the Universal Trench Selection shoot with a score of 87/100.  Neil Parsons was second on 80 with Marty Kneen taking third place on 78.

Juan Cowley and Paul Mihailovits shared the win in the 50 target Penketh-Millar Architectural Design sponsored 50 target shoot, hitting the perfect score of 50.  Dave Corlett, Jack Kneen and Marty Kneen all scored 48 to take third place.  Mihailovits went on to win the 100 target competition, missing just one target for a score of 99.  Cowley was second on 98 and Dave Corlett took third place with 96.

Results of Penketh-Millar League:

A Class: 1=, Juan Cowley and Paul Mihailovits 50/50; 3= Dave Corlett, Jack Kneen and Marty Kneen 48.

B Class: 1, Madeline Simpson 45; 2, Bob Corlett 44; 3, Ben Richards 41.

C Class: 1, Jordan Dougherty 42; 2, Fred Waggett 39; Corina Clague 38.

This week at Blue Point there are two competitions:  Sunday morning’s shoot is the annual 100 target Down the Line Manx Championship, kindly sponsored by Sadler Agricultural Supplies.  Entries close at 10.15am.  Monday afternoon’s shoot is the annual 3 shot auto challenge, kindly sponsored by George Davies, with entries closing at 12.30pm.
