The lower minimum wage for under 25s will be discussed in this month's sitting of Tynwald.
From the start of June the minimum wage will increase to £7.50 for those over 25 year old, but those aged 21 to 24 will receive just £7.20.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford will ask the Minister for Economic Development why younger workers will receive a lower minimum wage.
The minimum wage is currently £7 for all workers over 21 years old.
Laurence Skelly will provide the details when Tynwald sits next week.
