Campsite seeks planning permission for glamping facilities

A campsite in the west of the Island wants to build new glamping facilities.

Glen Wylin Campsite has submitted a planning application to build eight camping pods, seven lodges and two yurts at its existing site.

The operator of the site hopes such facilities will appeal to locals and visitors outside of the summer months.

The site currently offers space for tents and campervans, as well as laundry and shower facilities.
