The Chief Minister says it would be naive to think Brexit won't mean considerable work for the Isle of Man.
Howard Quayle was asked about the UK's decision to leave the European Union in the House of Keys this morning.
Mr Quayle confirmed he plans to hold a debate on the issue - which he reiterated is the biggest challenge facing his administration - in the May sitting of Tynwald.
The Chief Minister also insisted the Island needs to be hands on rather than waiting for developments and reacting to them.
