Police are investigating after a dog allegedly bit a person in the west of the Island.
The incident occurred on the coastal path opposite Ballagyr Farm on Saturday.
Officers say the dog's owner - a female in her early twenties - was aware of what happened, but refused to provide the victim of the bite with her details.
The dog is described as a light brown collie-type dog, and was being walked with two other dogs.
Police are speaking to dog licensing authorities to try to identify the dog's owner, but anyone who can help their investigation is asked to contact Peel Police Station on 842208.
