Fuel stolen from parked truck

Police are investigating after fuel was stolen from a truck parked in Douglas.

Thieves force the fuel cap off the vehicle and siphoned the fuel out while the vehicle was parked near the entrance to the White Hoe Industrial Estate car park on Old Castletown Road.

The fuel was taken between 4pm on Wednesday and 8.00 yesterday morning, and officers believe it would have taken some time while clearly in view of the main road.
