The Infrastructure Minister has confirmed work has been taking place to make the Island's schools more energy efficient.
Ray Harmer revealed in this week's sitting of the House of Keys that air tightness tests have taken place at Manx schools, identifying buildings that need improvements.
Cronk-y-Berry, Peel Clothworkers' and Foxdale have all had work done to prevent energy loss as a result of the tests.
The work has included air sealing windows and installing roofs that remove drafts.
Mr Harmer is hoping the changes will help contribute to substantial savings for the Government.
